This is an extended developmental experience to rapidly build the essential management and leadership skills for leading people in the implementation of the company strategy. It is beneficial for younger managers with potential to develop a rounded personal management tool kit and it is also beneficial for older managers to review their professional practice and fine tune their management practice to be more effective.

Objectives

  • To further build the competence and capability of the participants to be effective in their management role.
  • To foster an attitude of self-driven on-going personal development and a commitment to developing others
  • To provide managers with potential the opportunity to build their leadership competence through:
  • Introspection and the opportunity to reflect on self in order to have increased awareness and choice in their own behaviour and actions
  • Further development in the techniques, tools and attitudes required to achieve effective performance through other people both individually and in teams
  • Development of their business impact and how they address business issues
